Is the ladder fair?
Rungs are placed randomly and never touch each other, so the ladder always links each player to exactly one outcome. The result is fixed the moment the ladder is drawn, so nobody can know it in advance. This game is known as Amidakuji in Japan and Sadari-tagi in Korea.
