What is choseong?

Each Korean syllable block is built from an initial consonant (choseong), a vowel and sometimes a final consonant. This tool keeps only the initial consonant of every syllable, so "아이스 아메리카노" (iced americano) becomes "ㅇㅇㅅ ㅇㅁㄹㅋㄴ". Koreans use these for quiz games, song title puzzles and nicknames.

Jamo splitter

It also breaks syllables into individual letters, for example "한글" → "ㅎㅏㄴㄱㅡㄹ", including compound vowels and double final consonants. Useful for learning Hangul and typing practice.
